What it is.
A full conversion of a stock Anet A8 into a BLV AM8: aluminum extrusions, linear rails on all axes, a proper bed, and Marlin 2 with input shaping.
What broke.
The original Anet A8 printed every bracket needed to upgrade itself, which is the kind of joke that only lands once you watch a 36-hour print finish on the machine you're about to retire.
Where it lives now.
The garage. It prints the daily-driver work — enclosures, brackets, smart-home mounts. The Ender 3 sits next to it; the K1 is fast and unrepentant.
